Simon Ferguson will help guide strategic direction, expand market presence of YARDZ’ construction asset-management company.
YARDZ announces that Simon Ferguson has joined the company’s board of directors as a strategic advisor to the company.
Ferguson is formerly president of EquipmentWatch, considered the industry’s most trusted source for heavy equipment data and intelligence.
In this new advisory position, Ferguson will provide counsel and insights to assist YARDZ in growing its customer base; creating enhancements to the platform; and expanding the company’s overall market penetration.
Ferguson is no stranger to the YARDZ platform. He brokered a strategic partnership between YARDZ and EquipmentWatc,h which enhanced the overall structure and functionality of the YARDZ tool. By importing huge volumes of heavy-equipment data through the EquipmentWatch API, YARDZ can now enable its users to view detailed information about and gain specifications for thousands of pieces of heavy equipment.
His firsthand experience with the YARDZ platform made his decision to become a strategic advisor to the company an easy one.
